Zenos’ allegory (taken from Jacob 5) divided into FOUR SECTIONS with interpretation [in brackets] and summaries

SECTION ONE

Jesus acquires the house of Israel and nourishes it (personally, the first time)—It grows, waxes old and begins to decay.

.

hearken [jacob 5:2]

o ye house of israel

and hear the words of me [zenos]

a prophet of the lord [jesus christ]

for behold [jacob 5:3]

thus saith the lord [jesus christ]

i [jesus christ] will liken thee

o house of israel

like unto a tame olive tree [mother israel tribes]

which a man [jesus christ] took

and nourished in his vineyard [the world]

and it [the mother israel tribes] grew

and waxed old [institutionalized, became set in its ways]

and began to decay [spiritually die]

.

Jesus goes forth and sees Israel’s decay—He speaks and says that He will prune, dig about and nourish it (personally, the second time) in order to save it and cause it to grow new shoots.

.

and it came to pass [jacob 5:4]

that the master [jesus christ] of the vineyard [the world] went forth

and he [jesus christ] saw

that his olive tree [the mother israel tribes] began to decay [spiritually die]

and he [jesus christ] said

i [jesus christ] will prune it [the mother israel tribes]

and dig about it [the mother israel tribes]

and nourish it [the mother israel tribes]

that perhaps it [the mother israel tribes] may shoot forth young and tender branches [new israelite converts]

and it [the mother israel tribes] perish not [not spiritually die]

.

Jesus prunes, digs about and nourishes Israel (personally, the second time) as he had planned.

.

and it came to pass [jacob 5:5]

that he [jesus christ] pruned it [the mother israel tribes]

and digged about it [the mother israel tribes]

and nourished it [the mother israel tribes]

according to his word

.

After many days, Israel grows new shoots, but the leadership begins to perish.

.

and it came to pass [jacob 5:6]

that after many days it [the mother israel tribes] began to put forth

somewhat a little

young and tender branches [new israelite converts]

but behold

the main top thereof [the mother israel tribal leadership] began to perish [spiritually die]

.

.

SECTION TWO

Jesus sees Israel’s leadership begin to perish—He speaks to John and commands him to go and bring Gentile branches to HimHe and John will remove Israel’s apostate leadership, cast them into the fire and burn them—Jesus takes away many of the Israelite shoots from the main Israelite body—He will graft the Israelite shoots according to His will in order to preserve Israel’s fruit—He commands John to graft the Gentile branches into Israel—Jesus has cut off Israel’s apostate leadership—He will cast them into the fire and burn them.

.

and it came to pass [jacob 5:7]

that the master [jesus christ] of the vineyard [the world] saw it

and he [jesus christ] said unto his servant [john the beloved apostle]

it grieveth me [jesus christ]

that i [jesus christ] should lose this tree [the mother israel tribes]

wherefore

go [as a missionary apostle]

and pluck [remove from their traditions] the branches [the gentile converts] from a wild olive tree [the gentile tribes]

and bring them [the gentile converts] hither unto me [jesus christ]

and we [jesus and john] will pluck off those main branches [apostate mother israel tribal leadership]

which are beginning to wither away [spiritually die]

and we [jesus and john] will cast them into the fire

that they may be burned

and behold [jacob 5:8]

saith the lord [jesus christ] of the vineyard [the world]

i [jesus christ] take away [referring to the scattering of israel] many of these young and tender branches [new israelite converts]

and i [jesus christ] will graft them [at the last time] whithersoever i [jesus christ] will

and it mattereth not

that

if it so be

that the root [the original scripture] of this tree [the mother israel tribes] will perish

i [jesus christ] may preserve the fruit [the gifts] thereof unto myself

wherefore

i [jesus christ] will take [referring to the scattering of israel] these young and tender branches [new israelite converts]

and i [jesus christ] will graft [at the last time] them [the new israelite converts] whithersoever i [jesus christ] will

take thou [john the beloved apostle] the branches [gentile converts] of the wild olive tree [gentile tribes] [jacob 5:9]

and graft them [the gentile converts] in [into the mother israel tribes]

in the stead thereof [the gentile converts are to be the new leadership]

and these [the apostate mother israel tribal leadership]

which i [jesus christ] have plucked off [cut off, excommunicated]

i [jesus christ] will cast into the fire

and burn them [the apostate mother israel tribal leadership]

that they [the apostate mother israel tribal leadership] may not cumber the ground of my vineyard [the world]

.

John does what Jesus commanded him to do—He grafts in the Gentile branches into Israel—Jesus causes Israel to be pruned, digged about and nourished (a first time, through servants)—He speaks to JohnHe does these things in order to preserve the Israelite scriptures—He commands John to go, watch and nourish Israel (John’s first time) according to His plans—He will place the Israelite shoots in the world’s lowest parts (without telling John where they are) in order to preserve the shoots and lay up fruit.

.

and it came to pass [jacob 5:10]

that the servant [john the beloved apostle] of the lord [jesus christ] of the vineyard [the world] did

according to the word of the lord [jesus christ] of the vineyard [the world]

and grafted in [into the mother israel tribes] the branches [the gentile converts] of the wild olive tree [the gentile tribes]

and the lord [jesus christ] of the vineyard [the world] caused [he did not personally minister] [jacob 5:11]

that it [the mother israel tribes] should be digged about

and pruned

and nourished

saying unto his servant [john the beloved apostle]

it grieveth me [jesus christ]

that i [jesus christ] should lose this tree [the mother israel tribes]

wherefore

that perhaps i [jesus christ] might preserve the roots thereof [the original scriptures]

that they [the original scriptures] perish not

that i [jesus christ] might preserve them [the original scriptures] unto myself

i [jesus christ] have done this thing

wherefore [jacob 5:12]

go thy way [john is sent again]

watch the tree [the mother israel tribes]

and nourish it [the mother israel tribes]

according to my words

and these [new israelite converts] will i place [referring to the scattering of israel] in the nethermost [lowest] part of my vineyard [the world] [jacob 5:13]

whithersoever i [jesus christ] will

it mattereth not unto thee [john the beloved apostle]

and i [jesus christ] do it

that i [jesus christ] may preserve unto myself the natural branches [the israelite tribal branches] of the tree [the mother israel tribes]

and also that i [jesus christ] may lay up [for the Millennium] fruit [gifts] thereof against the season [the time after the Millennium] unto myself

for it grieveth me [jesus christ]

that i [jesus christ] should lose this tree [the mother israel tribes] and the fruit [the gifts] thereof

.

Jesus goes His way and hides the Israelite shoots in the world’s lowest parts.

.

and it came to pass [jacob 5:14]

that the lord [jesus christ] of the vineyard [the world] went his way

and hid [referring to the scattering of israel] the natural branches [the israelite tribal branches] of the tame olive tree [the mother israel tribes] in the nethermost [lowest] parts of the vineyard [the world]

some in one

and some in another

according to his will and pleasure

.

.

SECTION THREE

A long time passes away—Jesus speaks to JohnJesus commands John to come with Him down into the world in order to labor.

.

and it came to pass [jacob 5:15]

that a long time passed away

and the lord [jesus christ] of the vineyard [the world] said unto his servant [john the beloved apostle]

come

let us [jesus and john] go down into the vineyard [the world]

that we [jesus and john] may labor [the first time] in the vineyard [the world]

.

Jesus and John go down into the world to labor.

.

and it came to pass [jacob 5:16]

that the lord [jesus christ] of the vineyard [the world]

and also the servant [john the beloved apostle]

went down into the vineyard [the world] to labor [for the first time]

.

John speaks to JesusJohn shows Jesus Israel.

.

and it came to pass

that the servant [john the beloved apostle] said unto his master [jesus christ]

behold

look here

behold the tree [the mother israel tribes]

.

Jesus sees Israel—It had grown and begun to bear good natural fruit—Jesus speaks to John—The Gentile converts have taken moisture from Israel’s scripture—The scripture has brought forth much faith—As a result, the Gentile converts bear Israelite fruitWithout the grafting in of the Gentile converts, Israel would have perishedJesus shall lay up much fruit from Israel.

.

and it came to pass [jacob 5:17]

that the lord [jesus christ] of the vineyard [the world] looked

and beheld the tree [the mother israel tribes]

in the which the wild olive branches [the gentile converts] had been grafted [by john]

and it [the mother israel tribes] had sprung forth

and begun to bear fruit [gifts]

and he [jesus christ] beheld

that it [the fruit] was good [of the spirit]

and the fruit [the gifts] thereof was like unto the natural fruit [the israelite gifts]

and he [jesus christ] said unto the servant [john the beloved apostle] [jacob 5:18]

behold

the branches [the gentile converts] of the wild tree [the gentile tribes] have taken hold of the moisture [spirit] of the root thereof [the original scripture]

that the root thereof [the original scripture] hath brought forth much strength [faith]

and because of the much strength [faith] of the root thereof [the original scripture]

the wild branches [the gentile converts] have brought forth tame fruit [israelite gifts]

now

if we [jesus and john] had not grafted in these branches [gentile converts]

the tree thereof [the mother israel tribes] would have perished [spiritually died]

and now

behold

i [jesus christ] shall lay up [for the Millennium] much fruit [gifts]

which the tree thereof [the mother israel tribes] hath brought forth

and the fruit [the gifts] thereof i [jesus christ] shall lay up [for the Millennium] against the season [the time after the Millennium] unto mine own self

.

Jesus speaks to John and commands him to come with Him to the world’s lowest parts to see if the Israelite tribal branches have brought forth much fruit, in order to store it.

.

and it came to pass [jacob 5:19]

that the lord [jesus christ] of the vineyard [the world] said unto the servant [john the beloved apostle]

come

let us [jesus and john] go to the nethermost [lowest] part of the vineyard [the world]

and behold

if the natural branches [the israelite tribal branches] of the tree [the mother israel tribes] have not brought forth much fruit [gifts] also

that i [jesus christ] may lay up [for the Millennium] of the fruit [the gifts] thereof against the season [the time after the Millennium] unto mine own self

.

Jesus and John travel to where the Israelite tribal branches were hidden—Jesus speaks to John and tells him to look at the first Israelite tribal branchJohn sees that the branch has brought forth much good fruitJesus speaks to John and tells him to take the fruit and store itHe says He has nourished the branch this long time and it has brought forth much fruit.

.

and it came to pass [jacob 5:20]

that they [jesus and john] went forth

whither the master [jesus christ] had hid the natural branches [israelite tribal branches] of the tree [the mother israel tribes]

and he [jesus christ] said unto the servant [john the beloved apostle]

behold these

and he [john the beloved apostle] beheld the first [israelite tribal branch]

that it [the first israelite tribal branch] had brought forth much fruit [gifts]

and he [john the beloved apostle] beheld also

that it [the fruit] was good [of the spirit]

and he [jesus christ] said unto the servant [john the beloved apostle]

take of the fruit [the gifts] thereof

and lay it up against the season [the time after the Millennium]

that i [jesus christ] may preserve it unto mine own self

for behold

said he [jesus christ]

this long time have i [jesus christ] nourished it [the first israelite tribal branch]

and it [the first israelite tribal branch] hath brought forth much fruit [gifts]

.

John speaks to Jesus and asks why He has planted the first Israelite tribal branch in such poor soil—Jesus speaks to John and tells him not to counsel Him, for He knew it was poor soil, which is why He said He nourished it a long time—He tells John that he sees that the branch has brought forth much fruit.

.

and it came to pass [jacob 5:21]

that the servant [john the beloved apostle] said unto his master [jesus christ]

how comest thou [jesus christ] hither to plant this tree [the first israelite tribal branch]

or this branch of the tree [the mother israel tribes]

for behold

it was the poorest spot in all the land of thy vineyard [the world]

and the lord [jesus christ] of the vineyard [the world] said unto him [john the beloved apostle] [jacob 5:22]

counsel me [jesus christ] not

i [jesus christ] knew

that it was a poor spot of ground

wherefore

i [jesus christ] said unto thee [john the beloved apostle]

i [jesus christ] have nourished it [the first israelite tribal branch] this long time

and thou [john the beloved apostle] beholdest

that it [the first israelite tribal branch] hath brought forth much fruit [gifts]

.

Jesus speaks to John and tells him to look at the second Israelite tribal branch—He says John knows the soil was poorer than the first spot, nevertheless, Jesus has nourished the branch this long time and it has brought forth much fruit—He commands John to gather it and store it.

.

and it came to pass [jacob 5:23]

that the lord [jesus christ] of the vineyard [the world] said unto his servant [john the beloved apostle]

look hither

behold

i [jesus christ] have planted another branch of the tree also [the second israelite tribal branch]

and thou [john the beloved apostle] knowest

that this spot of ground was poorer than the first

but behold the tree [the second israelite tribal branch]

i [jesus christ] have nourished it [the second israelite tribal branch] this long time

and it [the second israelite tribal branch] hath brought forth much fruit [gifts]

therefore

gather it [the fruit]

and lay it [the fruit] up against the season [the time after the Millennium]

that i [jesus christ] may preserve it [the fruit] unto mine own self

.

Jesus speaks to John and tells him to look at the third Israelite tribal branch—He says that He has nourished it and it has brought forth fruitHe tells John to look at the fourth Israelite tribal branch, which He planted in a good spot of ground—He says that He has nourished the fourth branch this long time, but only a part of it has brought forth tame fruit, while the other part has brought forth wild fruitHe says that He has nourished it like the others.

.

and it came to pass [jacob 5:24]

that the lord [jesus christ] of the vineyard [the world] said again unto his servant [john the beloved apostle]

look hither

and behold another branch also [the third israelite tribal branch]

which i [jesus christ] have planted

behold

that i [jesus christ] have nourished it [the third israelite tribal branch] also

and it [the third israelite tribal branch] hath brought forth fruit [gifts]

and he [jesus christ] said unto the servant [john the beloved apostle] [jacob 5:25]

look hither

and behold the last [the fourth israelite tribal branch – the lehites]

behold

this [the fourth israelite tribal branch] have i [jesus christ] planted in a good spot of ground

and i [jesus christ] have nourished it [the fourth israelite tribal branch] this long time

and only a part [the nephites] of the tree [the fourth israelite tribal branch] hath brought forth tame fruit [israelite gifts]

and the other part [the lamanites] of the tree hath brought forth wild fruit [gentile gifts]

behold

i [jesus christ] have nourished this tree [the fourth israelite tribal branch] like unto the others

.

.Jesus speaks to John and tells him to cut off the Lamanites and cast them into the fire, but John replies with a request to instead have them prune, dig about and nourish them a little longer so that they can bring forth good fruit and Jesus can store it.

.

and it came to pass [jacob 5:26]

that the lord [jesus christ] of the vineyard [the world] said unto the servant [john the beloved apostle]

pluck off [cut off, excommunicate] the branches [the lamanites]

that have not brought forth good fruit [gifts of the spirit]

and cast them into the fire

but behold [jacob 5:27]

the servant [john the beloved apostle] said unto him [jesus christ]

let us [john and jesus] prune it [the lamanites]

and dig about it [the lamanites]

and nourish it [the lamanites] a little longer

that perhaps it [the lamanites] may bring forth good fruit [gifts of the spirit] unto thee [jesus christ]

that thou [jesus christ] canst lay it [the fruit] up against the season [the time after the Millennium]

.

Jesus and John nourish all the world’s fruit.

.

and it came to pass [jacob 5:28]

that the lord [jesus christ] of the vineyard [the world] and the servant [john the beloved apostle] of the lord [jesus christ] of the vineyard [the world] did nourish all the fruit [the gifts] of the vineyard [the world]

.

.

SECTION FOUR

A long time passes away—Jesus speaks to John and tells him to come with Him down into the world to labor in it—He says the harvest time approaches and the season’s end soon comes and He must store fruit.

.

and it came to pass [jacob 5:29]

that a long time had passed away

and the lord [jesus christ] of the vineyard [the world] said unto his servant [john the beloved apostle]

come

let us [jesus and john] go down into the vineyard [the world]

that we [jesus and john] may labor again [for the second time] in the vineyard [the world]

for behold

the time draweth near

and the end [the death of the earth] soon cometh

wherefore

i [jesus christ] must lay up [for the Millennium] fruit [gifts] against the season [the time after the Millennium] unto mine own self

.

Jesus and John go down into the world and come to Israel—All sorts of fruit are found in Israel.

.

and it came to pass [jacob 5:30]

that the lord [jesus christ] of the vineyard [the world] and the servant [john the beloved apostle] went down into the vineyard [the world]

and they [jesus and john] came to the tree [the mother israel tribes]

whose natural branches [israelite tribal branches] had been broken off [scattered]

and the wild branches [gentile converts] had been grafted in

and behold

all sorts of fruit [gifts] did cumber the tree [the mother israel tribes]

.

Jesus tastes the fruit found in Israel, according to its numberHe says that He and John have nourished Israel this long time and He has stored much fruit, but this time Israel has brought forth of unprofitable, bad fruit, despite all their labor—He is grieved about losing IsraelJohn speaks to Jesus and says that because Jesus grafted in the Gentiles, the Gentiles have nourished Israel’s scriptures, so that the scriptures are alive, have not perished and are yet good.

.

and it came to pass [jacob 5:31]

that the lord [jesus christ] of the vineyard [the world] did taste of the fruit [the gifts]

every sort according to its number

and the lord [jesus christ] of the vineyard [the world] said

behold

this long time have we [jesus and john] nourished this tree [the mother israel tribes]

and i [jesus christ] have laid up unto myself against the season [the time after the Millennium] much fruit [gifts]

but behold [jacob 5:32]

this time it [the mother israel tribes] hath brought forth much fruit [gifts]

and there is none of it [the fruit]

which is good [of the spirit]

and behold

there are all kinds of bad fruit [gifts of men and devils]

and it profiteth me [jesus christ] nothing

notwithstanding all our [jesus’ and john’s] [first] labor

and now

it grieveth me [jesus christ]

that i [jesus christ] should lose this tree [the mother israel tribes]

and the lord [jesus christ] of the vineyard [the world] said unto the servant [john the beloved apostle] [jacob 5:33]

what shall we [jesus and john] do unto the tree [the mother israel tribes]

that i [jesus christ] may preserve again good fruit [gifts of the spirit] thereof unto mine own self

and the servant [john the beloved apostle] said unto his master [jesus christ] [jacob 5:34]

behold

because thou [jesus christ] didst graft in [into the mother israel tribes] the branches [gentile converts] of the wild olive tree [the gentile tribes]

they [the gentile converts] have nourished [brought forth more of, or grown more of] the roots [the original scriptures]

that they [the original scriptures] are alive

and they [the original scriptures] have not perished

wherefore

thou beholdest

that they [the original scriptures] are yet good

.

Jesus speaks to John and says that Israel and her scriptures are unprofitable as long as they bring forth evil fruit—He says that He knows Israel’s scriptures are good and He has preserved them for a reason—He says that until now the Gentiles have brought forth good fruit because of the great faith in Israel’s scriptures, but that the Gentiles have now gone beyond, and overcome, the scriptures and Israel has now brought forth evil fruit—He says that because of all the evil fruit it has brought forth, Israel begins to perish and will soon become ripened and need to be cast into the fire, unless He and John do something to preserve her.

.

and it came to pass [jacob 5:35]

that the lord [jesus christ] of the vineyard [the world] said unto his servant [john the beloved apostle]

the tree [the mother israel tribes] profiteth me [jesus christ] nothing

and the roots thereof [the original scriptures] profit me [jesus christ] nothing

so long as it [the mother israel tribes] shall bring forth evil fruit [gifts of men and devils]

nevertheless [jacob 5:36]

i [jesus christ] know

that the roots [the original scriptures] are good

and for mine own purpose i [jesus christ] have preserved them [the original scriptures]

and because of their much strength [faith] they [the original scriptures] have hitherto brought forth

from the wild branches [the gentile converts]

good fruit [gifts of the spirit]

but behold [jacob 5:37]

the wild branches [the gentile converts] have grown

and have overrun [gone beyond] the roots thereof [the original scriptures]

and because that the wild branches [the gentile converts] have overcome the roots thereof [the original scriptures]

it [the mother israel tribes] hath brought forth much evil fruit [gifts of men and devils]

and because that it [the mother israel tribes] hath brought forth so much evil fruit [gifts of men and devils]

thou beholdest

that it [the mother israel tribes] beginneth to perish [spiritually die]

and it [the mother israel tribes] will soon become ripened

that it [the mother israel tribes] may be cast into the fire

except we [jesus and john] should do something for it [the mother israel tribes]

to preserve it [the mother israel tribes]

.

Jesus speaks to John and tells him to come with Him to the world’s lowest parts to see if the four Israelite tribal branches have also brought forth evil fruit.

.

and it came to pass [jacob 5:38]

that the lord [jesus christ] of the vineyard [the world] said unto his servant [john the beloved apostle]

let us [jesus and john] go down into the nethermost [lowest] parts of the vineyard [the world]

and behold

if the natural branches [the four israelite tribal branches] have also brought forth evil fruit [gifts of men and devils]

.

Jesus and John go down into the world’s lowest parts.

.

and it came to pass [jacob 5:39]

that they [jesus and john] went down into the nethermost parts of the vineyard [the world]

.

Jesus and John see that the fruit of the first, second and fourth Israelite tribal branches have become corrupt—They see that the Nephites have spiritually and temporally died.

.

and it came to pass

that they [jesus and john] beheld

that the fruit [the gifts] of the natural branches [the four israelite tribal branches] had become corrupt also

yea the first [the first israelite tribal branch]

and the second [the second israelite tribal branch]

and also the last [the fourth israelite tribal branch]

and they [the first, second and fourth branches] had all become corrupt

and the wild fruit [the gentile gifts] of the last [the fourth israelite trbal branch] had overcome that part [the nephites] of the tree [the fourth israelite tribal branch] [jacob 5:40]

which brought forth good fruit [gifts of the spirit]

even that the branch [the nephites] had withered away [spiritually died]

and died [temporally died]

.

Jesus weeps—He speaks to John and asks what more He could have done for the worldHe says that He knew that all the fruit of the world was corrupt, except for the third Israelite tribal branchHe says that the Nephites once brought forth good fruit but now also have become corrupted—He says the tribes of the world are good for nothing except to be cut down and cast into the fireHe says He planted the Lehites in a good spot of ground, even the very best spot in all the world He says that John saw that He had cut down the Jaredites who inhabited the land previously, so that the Lehites could be established there—He says that John saw that because He did not cut off the Lamanites and cast them into the fire, the Nephites brought forth good fruit while the Lamanites brought forth wild fruit—He says, as a result, the Lamanites overcame the Nephites and they spiritually died—He says despite all their care, the tribes have all become corrupted, they bring forth no good fruit and the Lamanites, who He had hoped to preserve, have become wild like the Gentiles and are of no worth except to be cut down and cast into the fireHe says He is grieved about losing the LamanitesHe asks what more He could have done in the world and if He has been slack or not nourished the worldHe says He has nourished, digged about, pruned and dunged the world and stretched out His hand almost all the day long—He says the end of the season approaches and it grieves Him to cut down the world’s tribes and cast them into the fire, to burn them—He asks who corrupted His world.

.

and it came to pass [jacob 5:41]

that the lord [jesus christ] of the vineyard [the world] wept

and said unto the servant [john the beloved apostle]

what could i [jesus christ] have done more for my vineyard [the world]

behold [jacob 5:42]

i [jesus christ] knew

that all the fruit [the gifts] of the vineyard [the world]

save it were these [the gifts of the third israelite tribal branch]

had become corrupted

and now these [the nephites]

which have once brought forth good fruit [gifts of the spirit]

have also become corrupted

and now

all the trees [the tribes] of my vineyard [the world] are good for nothing

save it be to be hewn down

and cast into the fire

and behold [jacob 5:43]

this last [the fourth israelite tribal branch]

whose branch [the nephites] hath withered away [spiritually died]

I [jesus christ] did plant in a good spot of ground

yea

even that

which was choice unto me [jesus christ] above all other parts of the land of my vineyard [the world]

and thou [john the beloved apostle] beheldest [jacob 5:44]

that i [jesus christ] also cut down that [the jaredites]

which cumbered this spot of ground

that i [jesus christ] might plant this tree [the fourth israelite tribal branch] in the stead thereof

and thou [john the beloved apostle] beheldest [jacob 5:45]

that a part thereof [the nephites] brought forth good fruit [gifts of the spirit]

and a part thereof [the lamanites] brought forth wild fruit [gentile gifts]

and because i [jesus christ] plucked not the branches thereof [the lamanites]

and cast them [the lamanites] into the fire

behold

they [the lamanites] have overcome the good branch [the nephites]

that it [the nephites] hath withered away [spiritually died]

and now [jacob 5:46]

behold

notwithstanding all the care which we [jesus and john] have taken of my vineyard [the world]

the trees thereof [the tribes] have become corrupted

that they bring forth no good fruit [gifts of the spirit]

and these [the lamanites] i [jesus christ] had hoped to preserve

to have laid up fruit [gifts] thereof against the season [the time after the Millennium] unto mine own self

but behold

they [the lamanites] have become like unto the wild olive tree [the gentile tribes]

and they [the lamanites] are of no worth

but to be hewn down

and cast into the fire

and it grieveth me [jesus christ]

that i [jesus christ] should lose them [the lamanites]

but what could i [jesus christ] have done more in my vineyard [the world] [jacob 5:47]

have i [jesus christ] slackened mine hand

that i [jesus christ] have not nourished it [the world]

nay

i [jesus christ] have nourished it [the world]

and i [jesus christ] have digged about it [the world]

and i [jesus christ] have pruned it [the world]

and i [jesus christ] have dunged it [the world]

and i [jesus christ] have stretched forth mine hand almost all the day long [referring to the cross]

and the end [the death of the earth] draweth nigh

and it grieveth me [jesus christ]

that i [jesus christ] should hew down all the trees [the tribes] of my vineyard [the world]

and cast them into the fire

that they [the tribes] should be burned

who is it

that has corrupted my vineyard [the world]

.

John speaks to Jesus and asks if it not the pride of the world—He asks if it is not because the living church has overcome the good scriptures, growing faster than the faith of the scriptures, taking faith to themselves—He asks if this is not the reason that the world’s tribes have become corrupted.

.

and it came to pass [jacob 5:48]

that the servant [john the beloved apostle] said unto his master [jesus christ]

is it not the loftiness [pride] of thy vineyard [the world]

have not the branches thereof overcome the roots [the scriptures]

which are good

and because the branches have overcome the roots thereof [the scriptures]

behold

they grew faster than the strength [faith] of the roots [the scriptures]

taking strength [faith] unto themselves

behold

i [john the beloved apostle] say

is not this the cause

that the trees [the tribes] of thy vineyard [the world] have become corrupted

.

Jesus speaks to John and commands him to accompany Him to cut down the world’s tribes and cast them into the fire, so that the world is empty—He says He has done everything possible and asks what more He could have done for the world—John speaks to Jesus and asks Him to spare the world a little longer—Jesus says He is grieved about losing the world’s tribes and will spare them a little longer—He commands John to help Him graft the four Israelite tribal branches into the mother Israel tribes, remove apostates from Israel and graft her four branches in the apostates’ place, so that Israel doesn’t perish and He can preserve her scriptures—The scriptures of the four branches are still alive—In order to preserve the four scriptural canons, Jesus will graft mother Israel into her four branches—He says He will do this to preserve these scriptures so that when the grafted in Israelites and Gentiles have sufficient faith, they will produce good fruit, which will bring Him glory.

.

and it came to pass [jacob 5:49]

that the lord [jesus christ] of the vineyard [the world] said unto the servant [john the beloved apostle]

let us [jesus and john] go to

and hew down the trees [the tribes] of the vineyard [the world]

and cast them [the tribes] into the fire

that they [the tribes] shall not cumber the ground of my vineyard [the world]

for i [jesus christ] have done all

what could i [jesus christ] have done more for my vineyard [the world]

but behold [jacob 5:50]

the servant [john the beloved apostle] said unto the lord [jesus christ] of the vineyard [the world]

spare it [the world] a little longer

and the lord [jesus christ] said [jacob 5:51]

yea

i [jesus christ] will spare it [the world] a little longer

for it grieveth me [jesus christ]

that i [jesus christ] should lose the trees [the tribes] of my vineyard [the world]

wherefore [jacob 5:52]

let us [jesus and john] take of the branches of these [the four israelite tribal branches of the mother israel tribes]

which i [jesus christ] have planted in the nethermost [lowest] parts of my vineyard [the world]

and let us [jesus and john] graft them [the four israelite tribal branches] into the tree [the mother israel tribes]

from whence they [the four israelite tribal branches] came

and let us [jesus and john] pluck from the tree [the mother israel tribes] those branches [apostate israelites and gentiles]

whose fruit [gifts] is most bitter

and graft in the natural branches [the four israelite tribal branches] of the tree [the mother israel tribes] in the stead thereof [the four israelite tribal branches are to be the new leadership]

and this will i [jesus christ] do [jacob 5:53]

that the tree [the mother israel tribes] may not perish [may not spiritually die]

that perhaps i [jesus christ] may preserve unto myself the roots thereof [the original scriptures] for mine own purpose

and behold [jacob 5:54]

the roots [the scriptures] of the natural branches [the four israesite tribal branches] of the tree [the mother israel tribes]

which i [jesus christ] planted whithersoever i [jesus christ] would

are yet alive

wherefore

that i [jesus christ] may preserve them [the four scriptural canons] also for mine own purpose

i [jesus christ] will take of the branches [the israelites and gentiles] of this tree [the mother israel tribes]

and i [jesus christ] will graft them [israelites and gentiles] in unto them [the four israelite tribal branches]

yea

i [jesus christ] will graft in unto them [the four israelite tribal branches] the branches [the israelites and gentiles] of their mother tree [the mother israel tribes]

that i [jesus christ] may preserve the roots [the four scriptural canons] also unto mine own self

that when they [the israelites and gentiles] shall be sufficiently strong

perhaps they [the israelites and gentiles] may bring forth good fruit [gifts of the spirit] unto me

and i [jesus christ] may yet have glory in the fruit [gifts] of my vineyard [the world]

.

Jesus and John graft Israel into her four branches and graft the four branches back into Israel—Jesus speaks to John and commands him to remove only the most apostate from the tribes and to graft in where the apostates were taken from—He says He and John will nourish all five Israelitish trees again, trimming them and casting the ripened apostates into the fire, so that five scriptural canons may cause the good to overcome the evil because of the branch grafting and the scriptures’ goodness—He says that because the four Israelite tribal branches and their scriptures are preserved and grafted back into mother Israel, the five Israelite trees may produce good fruit again and He may have joy in that fruit, and also rejoice exceedingly because He preserved the four scriptural canons and four Israelite branches—He commands John to go on a mission and call other Eliases so that they all may labor diligently in the world and prepare the way to bring forth the good fruit again—He gives John the grafting orders, even that the first shall be last and the last shall be first, and says that this is the last time of pruning, dunging, digging about and nourishing—He instructs the Eliases how to prepare the way as the grafts grow, even that the bad shall be cleared away as the good grows and the church and scriptures should be equal—He says that in this manner the grafting will take place and prophesies of the scattered gathering, of Zion and of all the bad being cut off from the world.

.

and it came to pass [jacob 5:55]

that they [jesus and john] took from the natural tree [the mother israel tribes]

which had become wild [like unto the gentile tribes]

and grafted in unto the natural trees [the four israelite tribal branches]

which also had become wild [like unto the gentile tribes]

and they also took of the natural trees [the four israelite tribal branches] [jacob 5:56]

which had become wild [like unto the gentile tribes]

and grafted into their mother tree [the mother israel tribes]

and the lord [jesus christ] of the vineyard [the world] said unto the servant [john the beloved apostle] [jacob 5:57]

pluck not the wild branches [apostate israelites/gentiles] from the trees [the five israelitish trees]

save it be those

which are most bitter

and in them [the five israelitish trees] ye shall graft

according to that

which i [jesus christ] have said

and we [jesus and john] will nourish again [the second time] the trees [the five israelitish trees] of the vineyard [the world] [jacob 5:58]

and we [jesus and john] will trim up the branches thereof

and we [jesus and john] will pluck from the trees [the five israelitish trees] those branches

which are ripened

that must perish

and cast them into the fire

and this i [jesus christ] do [jacob 5:59]

that perhaps the roots thereof [the five scriptural canons] may take strength [faith]

because of their goodness

and because of the change of the branches

that the good may overcome the evil

and because that i [jesus christ] have preserved the natural branches [the four israelite tribal branches] [jacob 5:60]

and the roots thereof [the four scriptural canons]

and that i [jesus christ] have grafted in the natural branches [the four israelite tribal branches] again into their mother tree [the mother israel tribes]

and have preserved the roots [the original scriptures] of their mother tree [the mother israel tribes]

that perhaps the trees [the five israelitish trees] of my vineyard [the world] may bring forth again good fruit [gifts of the spirit]

and that i [jesus christ] may have joy again in the fruit [gifts] of my vineyard [the world]

and perhaps that i [jesus christ] may rejoice exceedingly

that i [jesus christ] have preserved the roots [the scriptures]

and the branches of the first fruit [the original gifts]

wherefore [jacob 5:61]

go to [john sent on a mission]

and call servants [other eliases]

that we [jesus, john and other eliases] may labor diligently with our might in the vineyard [the world]

that we [jesus, john and other eliases] may prepare the way [the work of elias]

that i [jesus christ] may bring forth again the natural fruit [the israelite gifts]

which natural fruit [israelite gifts] is good [of the spirit]

and the most precious above all other fruit [gifts]

wherefore [jacob 5:62]

let us [jesus and john] go to

and labor with our might this last time [the second time]

for behold

the end [the death of the earth] draweth nigh

and this is for the last time [the second time]

that i [jesus christ] shall prune my vineyard [the world]

graft in the branches [jacob 5:63]

begin at the last [the lamanites – the fourth israelite tribal branch]

that they may be first [#1: the lamanites – the 4th branch, #2: the 3rd branch, #3: the 2nd branch, #4: the 1st branch, #5: the mother israel tribes]

and that the first may be last [#1: the lamanites – the 4th branch, #2: the 3rd branch, #3: the 2nd branch, #4: the 1st branch, #5: the mother israel tribes]

and dig about the trees [the five israelitish trees]

both old and young [the four new israelitish trees and their old mother tree]

the first and the last [the mother tree and the lamanites]

and the last and the first [the lamanites and the mother tree]

that all may be nourished once again for the last time [the second time]

wherefore [jacob 5:64]

dig about them

and prune them

and dung them once more for the last time [the second time]

for the end [the death of the earth] draweth nigh

and if it be so

that these last grafts shall grow

and bring forth the natural fruit [the israelite gifts]

then shall ye [john and the other eliases] prepare the way for them [the work of elias]

that they may grow

and as they begin to grow [jacob 5:65]

ye [john and the other eliases] shall clear away the branches

which bring forth bitter fruit [gifts of men and devils]

according to the strength [faith] of the good and the size thereof

and ye [john and the other eliases] shall not clear away the bad thereof all at once

lest the roots thereof [the scriptures] should be too strong [faithful] for the graft

and the graft thereof shall perish

and i [jesus christ] lose the trees [the tribes] of my vineyard [the world]

for it grieveth me [jesus christ] [jacob 5:66]

that i [jesus christ] should lose the trees [the tribes] of my vineyard [the world]

wherefore

ye [john and the other eliases] shall clear away the bad

according as the good shall grow

that the root [the scripture] and the top [the living church] may be equal in strength [in faith]

until the good shall overcome the bad

and the bad be hewn down

and cast into the fire

that they cumber not the ground of my vineyard [the world]

and thus will i [jesus christ] sweep away the bad out of my vineyard [the world]

and the branches [the four israelite tribal branches] of the natural tree [the mother israel tribes] will i [jesus christ] graft in again into the natural tree [the mother israel tribes] [jacob 5:67]

and the branches [the israelites and gentiles] of the natural tree [the mother israel tribes] will i [jesus christ] graft into the natural branches [the four israelite tribal branches] of the tree [the mother israel tribes] [jacob 5:68]

and thus will i [jesus christ] bring them [the five israelitish trees] together again [the (scattered) gathering]

that they [the five israelitish trees] shall bring forth the natural fruit [the israelite gifts]

and they [the five israelitish trees] shall be one [zion]

and the bad shall be cast away [jacob 5:69]

yea

even out of all the land of my vineyard [the world]

for behold

only this once will i [jesus christ] prune my vineyard [the world]

.

Jesus sends John on a mission—John obeys and brings a few other Eliases back with him—Jesus speaks to the Eliases and commands them to go and labor in the world with their might—He says this is the last time He will nourish the world—He says the end is near and the season soon approaches—He promises them joy in the fruit He will store up during the Millennium if they labor with Him with their might.

.

and it came to pass [jacob 5:70]

that the lord [jesus christ] of the vineyard [the world] sent his servant [john the beloved apostle]

and the servant [john the beloved apostle] went

and did as the lord [jesus christ] had commanded him [john the beloved apostle]

and brought other servants [other eliases]

and they [the other eliases] were few

and the lord of the vineyard said unto them [the other eliases] [jacob 5:71]

go to

and labor in the vineyard [the world] with your might

for behold

this is the last time [the second time]

that i [jesus christ] shall nourish my vineyard

for the end [the death of the earth] is nigh at hand

and the season [the time after the Millennium] speedily cometh

and if ye [the other eliases] labor with your might with me [jesus christ]

ye [the other eliases] shall have joy in the fruit [the gifts]

which i [jesus christ] shall lay up [for the Millennium] unto myself against the time [after the Millennium]

which will soon come

.

The Eliases (and Jesus) go and labor in the world—They obey Jesus’ commandments—Israelite fruit begins to appear in the world again—The four tribal branches begin to grow and thrive—The apostates begin to be cast away—The Eliases keep the church and the scriptures equal—The bad is cast out of the world, the Israelitish tribes and their fruit is preserved by Jesus and all the tribes of Israel are gathered as one body, their fruit all being equal.

.

and it came to pass [jacob 5:72]

that the servants [the eliases] did go

and labor with their mights

and the lord [jesus christ] of the vineyard [the world] labored also with them [the eliases]

and they [the eliases] did obey the commandments of the lord [jesus christ] of the vineyard [the world] in all things

and there began to be the natural fruit [the israelite gifts] again in the vineyard [the world] [jacob 5:73]

and the natural branches [the four israelite tribal branches] began to grow

and thrive exceedingly

and the wild branches [apostate israelites and gentiles] began to be plucked off

and to be cast away

and they [the eliases] did keep the root [the scripture] and the top [the living church] thereof equal

according to the strength [faith] thereof

and thus [jacob 5:74]

they [the eliases] labored with all diligence

according to the commandments of the lord [jesus christ] of the vineyard [the world]

even until the bad had been cast away out of the vineyard [the world]

and the lord [jesus christ] had preserved unto himself

that the trees had become again the natural fruit [the israelite gifts]

and they became like unto one body [the (non-scattered) gathering]

and the fruits [the gifts] were equal

and the lord [jesus christ] of the vineyard [the world] had preserved unto himself the natural fruit [the israelite gifts]

which was most precious unto him from the beginning

.

Jesus, seeing that the world’s fruit is good and that the world is no longer corrupt, calls the Eliases and says to them that He and they have nourished the world for this last time and He has done according to His will—He says the fruit He has preserved is good, like at the beginning—He blesses His servants for their diligent labor, for keeping His commandments and for bringing to Him again the good fruit—He says the world is no longer corrupt and the bad has been removed—He says His servants will have joy with Him because of the fruit—He says will lay up fruit for a thousand years because of their labor—He says that after the Millennium, when bad fruit appears again, He will gather and preserve the good to Himself and gather and cast away the bad, then the season and the end will come and the world will be burned with fire.

.

and it came to pass [jacob 5:75]

that when the lord [jesus christ] of the vineyard [the world] saw

that his fruit [gifts] was good [of the spirit]

and that his vineyard [the world] was no more corrupt

he [jesus christ] called up his servants [john and the other eliases]

and said unto them [john and the other eliases]

behold

for this last time [the second time] have we [jesus, john and the other eliases] nourished my vineyard [the world]

and thou [elias] beholdest

that i [jesus christ] have done according to my will

and i [jesus christ] have preserved the natural fruit [the israelite gifts]

that it [the fruit] is good [of the spirit]

even like as it [the fruit] was in the beginning [originally]

and blessed art thou [elias]

for because ye [john and the other eliases] have been diligent in laboring with me [jesus christ] in my vineyard [the world]

and have kept my commandments

and have brought unto me [jesus christ] again the natural fruit [the israelite gifts]

that my vineyard [the world] is no more corrupted

and the bad is cast away

behold

ye [john and the other eliases] shall have joy with me [jesus christ] because of the fruit [the gifts] of my vineyard [the world]

for behold [jacob 5:76]

for a long time [a thousand years – the Millennium] will i [jesus christ] lay up of the fruit [the gifts] of my vineyard [the world] unto mine own self against the season [the time after the Millennium]

which speedily cometh

and for the last time [the second time] have i [jesus christ] nourished my vineyard [the world]

and pruned it [the world]

and dug about it [the world]

and dunged it [the world]

wherefore

i [jesus christ] will lay up unto mine own self of the fruit [the gifts] for a long time [a thousand years – the Millennium]

according to that which i [jesus christ] have spoken

and when the time cometh [after the millennium] [jacob 5:77]

that evil fruit [gifts of men and devils] shall again come [after the millennium] into my vineyard [the world]

then will i [jesus christ] cause the good and the bad to be gathered [the second gathering]

and the good will i [jesus christ] preserve unto myself

and the bad will i [jesus christ] cast away into its own place [outer darkness]

and then cometh the season [the time after the Millennium] and the end [the death of the earth]

and my vineyard [the world] will i cause to be burned with fire
